你好大家。我的中文名是，龙光斌。我是在美国出生的，也是因为我父母是在越南出生的，我不知道祖先是在中国哪里来的。我以前问过我爸爸，她告诉我我们的祖先实在广西走到越南的。但是我非常不了解中国。广西也是那么大个省。
我十几年前在越南去个山上，看到祖先的墓碑，墓碑上也用繁体中文写了“龙”的姓
这个我不太清楚，但是我太外婆也住了在越南，后来大概1975年也移民到美国。这个会代表我的祖先是最少60年前已经离开了中国
有没有人可以介绍任何信息给我妈？

Hello everybody, my name is Steven Long. I apologize as my Chinese is not very good, so I thought it prudent to include my inquiry in English. As stated, I was born in the United States. My parents gave me the Chinese name 龙光斌, but it is not on any official documents.
Both of my parents were born in Vietnam, so I think the history of my ancestry may be lost in time.
What little information I have is that my father has told me that our ancestors came from Guangxi province.
I have also went to worship my ancestors in northern Vietnam and saw the "龙" character (written in Traditional Chinese) on my ancestor's tombstones.
As an inaccurate guess, because my Great Grandmother also lived in Vietnam, before she immigrated to the United States, I estimate that my ancestors would have left China for Vietnam at least 60 years ago, if not earlier.
If anybody here would be able to provide any insight, this is something of great interest to me. Thank you!
光斌宗亲您好，诚如代清宗亲所说，您得知道祖先来自广西何处？广西这么多县市都有龙姓分布，尤其以桂林、柳州、河池、玉林等地区为盛，再则龙姓除汉族外，壮、苗、瑶、侗、彝等民族都有姓龙的。若是龙姓汉族，祖先则大多数是因战争原因从湖南、江西等地迁徙到广西的，若您的祖先60年前才迁到越南，则也是因为中国国共内战所致。再则，您可以从您家辈分排序去查，您是光字辈、您的父亲、祖父又是什么辈分?
